Welcome to White Post Nursery, a friendly, family run Garden Nursery in Langford Budville, near Wellington, Somerset.

Growing unusual and unique plants as well as old favourites.

We grow a wide range of hardy perennials, herbs, vegetables, shrubs, grasses, alpines, lavender and bonsai landscape gardens.

Also, we have a large variety of fuchsia, geraniums, bedding, container and patio plants, specialising in the unusual during the season.

Many of the plants we grow and sell are unusual and not generally available in larger garden centres, giving you the chance to create a unique and special garden.

Vegetable plants such as runner beans, broad beans, french beans, peas etc start as seeds in packs.. Most larger plants such as green courgettes, yellow courgettes, cucumber, tomatoes, sweet pepper, chilli peppers and aubergines we grow and sell singly. We choose varieties on taste and disease resistance making them ideal for the small scale and organic gardener.

Our herbs are grown singly in pots and include mint, chives, sage, thyme (lemon thyme, orange thyme, common thyme), flat and curly parsley, origanum, hyssop, french tarragon, etc

We ‘over-winter’ most of our stock outside in an unprotected environment, which makes our plants, shrubs and trees very hardy and able to thrive in demanding conditions.

If we do not have the plant you want, we will do our best to find it for you – so please ask!

The nursery is opening hours to 9.30 to 5 on Tuesday to Saturday and 11 to 4 on Sunday. Closed Monday.
